A true sensitive skin will display almost identical traits to a True Dry Skin with the exception being that these particularly delicate skins experience a more constant redness, rather than occasional flares due to seasonal changes. Typically, these skins will experience regular irritation to more than just topical skin products including common household products like washing detergents and perfumes, a tendency to experience extreme levels of flushing with certain foods as well as having a stronger histamine response which can develop in rashes and hives under stress. The key difference between a True Dry Skin and a Sensitive Skin will be the constant underlying redness from an early age in life. If treated incorrectly sensitive skin will already be displaying dehydration and barrier impairment.
