This Christmas, we’re embracing one of our favourite GINGER&ME values: Family Matters.
It’s how we work, how we create and how we celebrate. Because family, for us, isn’t just who you’re related to — it’s the people who make life brighter, louder, warmer and more memorable.
It’s this essence that inspired our 2025 Christmas Collection, Love in the Present — a campaign that plays on both meanings of the word present: being truly in the moment with the people you love, and giving presents from the heart.
Where Life Happens: Around the Table
In Italian culture, and for our founder Maria Enna-Cocciolone, some of life’s most memorable moments happen around the table.
Big events, small events, happy moments, sad moments — somehow, in true Italian style, they all revolve around food.
When someone’s sick or grieving, you bring a meal. When you’re celebrating, you bring a plate. When your Sunday afternoon frees up, you gather around an antipasto platter.
Why? Because it’s how you show love, how you connect, how you heal, and how you create lifelong memories.
“It never ceased to amaze me how Mum could turn the simplest ingredients into something extraordinary,” Maria remembers. “At Christmas, she’d fill the house with the smell of her cooking, Dad would pour the wine, and we’d all talk over each other in true Italian style. There was always too much food, it was chaos, it was loud, and yet it was perfect!”
For Maria, the table has always been more than a place to eat — it’s the heartbeat of her family. It’s where stories are told, laughter is shared, and memories are made.
This year, the campaign carries even deeper meaning. After the recent and sudden passing of her mother, Maria has found comfort in these rituals — in the flavours, laughter, and familiar rhythm of family coming together.
This year, she steps up to hold onto her mother’s love and traditions, ensuring the family stays strong and united.
“When I think of Mum, I remember her like the sun. Her warmth and vibrancy, her handmade recipes, the table full of food, her ability to shine light on each of us as individuals yet remain the golden thread that kept us strong and united. Family, food, laughter and love — unforgettable memories that help us find courage as we navigate her absence and continue to live by her example.”

“My mother taught me that love is in the doing. Bringing people together, cooking the meal, setting the table with her special flair, being present and always available. This is what I carry forward, and what I hope this season inspires others to do,” says Maria.
